3rd National Y-PEER E-course on SRHR and Young People

, E-course, Training

Four weekend classes for young people aged 16–30, organized with the Y-PEER Asia Pacific Center, YouthDay Space, and BSAN.

The 3rd National Y-PEER E-course on SRHR and Young People in Bangladesh ran on Fridays and Saturdays from 18 October 2024. It was open to young advocates aged 16 to 30 who wanted to build their understanding of SRHR and make a difference in their communities.

Y-PEER Bangladesh organized the course in collaboration with the Y-PEER Asia Pacific Center, YouthDay Space, and Bangladesh Social Action Network (BSAN).

Classes covered adolescent and youth SRHR, comprehensive sexuality education and gender equality, SRHR in humanitarian crisis, and cyberbullying, mental health, and SRHR in the digital age. More than 40 young people took part. The course closed at the end of October, with thanks to every participant who attended all four classes.

Participants also made short videos on a practical question: what can local communities do about SRHR in areas hit by climate disasters, and how can young people lead? One of them was shared in January 2025.
