A community-led look at where public health, hygiene, and climate change meet, and what young people can do about it.
Y-PEER Bangladesh organized a webinar on health, hygiene, and climate change with the Y-PEER Asia Pacific Center, YouthDay Space, and Bangladesh Social Action Network (BSAN). It was held on Zoom on 27 September 2024 at 4 PM Bangladesh time.
Two guest speakers, from Simavi and YouthNet Global, explored the critical link between public health, hygiene practices, and climate change. They covered the challenges vulnerable communities face during climate disasters and the youth-led solutions that can help.
The webinar was open to youth leaders and activists, health and climate change advocates, NGOs and community-based organizations, and researchers and academics. More than 50 people took part, including experts and youth leaders. A recording was shared afterwards.
