The Y-PEER Bangladesh team and Y-PEER Asia Pacific Center representatives met UNFPA Bangladesh to discuss programs that bring young people and older adults together as equal partners.
In August 2026 the Y-PEER Bangladesh team, together with international core representation from the Y-PEER Asia Pacific Center in Bangkok, held a strategic dialogue with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Bangladesh. The aim was to explore and advance frameworks for intergenerational solidarity.
The conversation centered on intentional programming that connects young people and older adults as equal partners in leadership, learning, and community resilience.
Y-PEER Bangladesh remains committed to turning regional guidance and dialogues into community-led models, inclusive peer networks, and evidence-based policy advocacy. The network looks forward to strengthening its collaboration with UNFPA Bangladesh and development partners, so that every generation has a voice, a role, and a shared purpose.
