For UNESCO's International Day Against Bullying and Violence at School, our Me For Myself ambassadors ran sessions for students and teachers.
On 27 and 29 November 2023, for UNESCO’s International Day Against Bullying and Violence at School, Including Cyberbullying, our Me For Myself (M4M) ambassadors ran two sessions:
- a session for students and teachers at Adarsha Nagar Kindergarten and High School
- a session for students in Ashulia, Savar, with Ostitto Bangladesh, with a focus on gender minority communities
Both sessions looked at how bullying affects mental health, and at ways to stop it and create safe spaces. They were interactive, so everyone could share their thoughts and experiences about bullying and violence.
The sessions were supported by UNESCO Bangkok, the Y-PEER Asia Pacific Center, and Y-PEER Bangladesh.
